Macau, June 28, 2016 – Over 80 professionals from the region’s tourism and events industry were gathered at Pacha Macau in Studio City for the second edition of its event series organized by the Macau Meeting, Incentives and Special Events Association (MISE).

Since its official launch held in March, MISE has not only kept itself busy with the Association work but also initiated work towards the two of the Association’s objectives, namely the creation of event planners’ guide and MICE educational programs.

During the event, MISE’s Secretary Mr. Bruno Simões introduced the Association’s flagship project, Macau Event Planners’ Guide 2016-2017 and announced the winner of the bid for the production of the guide, which has been awarded to Conde Group. Mr. Simões added, “it is our intention to produce a comprehensive event’s guide for Macau, as such we are reaching out to our members and members-to-be to take part of it to make it as industry representative as possible.”

On the education front, Ms. Rebecca Choi, Vice President of MISE announced MISE’s first educational seminar, namely the “CIS – Certified Incentive Specialist Program” (www.sitecis.com) by Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), which will be held in Macau on September 13-14, 2016.
